Events Manager

National Skills Coalition (NSC) seeks an Events Manager to manage all aspects of our growing national bi-partisan policy organization’s events and meetings.

The Events Manager will be a self-starter who will plan and run 20-30 meetings and events per year around the US. The Events Manager will work with all departments across the organization.  This is a new position and will report to the Chief Finance and Administration Officer.  This position is based in Washington, DC.

Demonstrated track record of successful meeting and event management;
Relentless attention to detail, exceptional organization and time-management practices; 
A high level of comfort learning and adopting new technology solutions;
A passion for NSC’s mission to promote greater economic opportunity for a range of students and workers in this country.

Press Secretary

National Skills Coalition is seeking a talented and creative Press Secretary to join a growing communications team to drive media coverage of NSC’s key issues in the news. 

The Press Secretary will serve as National Skills Coalition’s key point of contact with the media. This job requires strong pitching abilities and excellent writing skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to translate complicated material into concise, accurate, and compelling language for the general public, including op-eds and LTEs, talking points, blog posts, and the full range of communications collateral. She or he will also have strong pitching skills with a proven track record of success in media relations. Candidates must also demonstrate a team-oriented approach to shared work, problem solving, and strategic planning.

Executive Assistant

National Skills Coalition (NSC) seeks an Executive Assistant to manage the Executive Office of our growing national bi-partisan policy organization.

The Executive Assistant is an integral member of the CEO’s Executive team. Acts as a trusted advisor who can effectively manage the activities of the Executive Office with efficiency and grace. Support the efforts of NSC’s Executive Team, which includes the CEO, Chief of Finance and Administration, Chief of Staff (COS) and Chief of Development Officer (CDO). The Executive Assistant reports to the Chief of Finance and Administration.
