The North Carolina Alliance for Workforce Competitiveness believes that the purpose of workforce development is to help people, communities and businesses thrive. The Alliance calls on federal and state leaders to renew their commitment to the development of the skills of the state’s workforce and carries forward an agenda that works to improve access to education and training, create good jobs through integrated economic and workforce development strategies and provide more supports for low-income working families.
