Ad campaign calls on Congress to do its job.

February 6, 2012

When Congress does a good job, it’s easier for people to get a good job.

Last week, NSC launched a national ad campaign to raise the visibility of America’s skills gap and Congress’ role in closing it. Help us get this ad campaign in front of your Members of Congress and the American public.

We can’t cut our nation’s skills gap by cutting skills training.

In his State of the Union Address, President Obama committed to making skills for America’s workers central to his economic vision. The President will reveal his plans to achieve this goal in his budget proposal next week, after which Congress will respond with its spending proposals. The next two weeks are a critical time for the workforce development field to call on Congress to invest in and improve—not cut—federal workforce funding.

NSC’s ad debuted today on the national stage in National Journal Daily, the premiere news source for policymakers in Washington, following a run in business magazines last week in Western Massachusetts, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and the Twin Cities.

This ad campaign carries an important message, but its impact will only be realized with your help. Here’s how you can get this campaign in front of your Members of Congress:
