Communications Associate

Michelle supports efforts to raise awareness of National Skills Coalition’s agenda and campaigns among members, the press, policymakers and the general public. Michelle is the managing editor for all on-line communications, including National Skills Coalition's website, e-news, and e-advocacy. She also supports the organization's media efforts and the development of reports and publications. Michelle joined National Skills Coalition in 2008. 

Michelle was previously a policy associate for the National Transitional Jobs Network, where her work included website management, e-communications, and action alerts; supporting the organizing and marketing of the Network's annual conference; and shaping the Network's advocacy messages.

Michelle has a master’s degree in social administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations from American University. She is based in Washington, DC.
